Once upon a time long, long ago (or maybe a year or two ago) I came across soap making.  I'm not sure how I got hooked now, but I can tell you how Mr. Soap Wish got hooked.  Mr. Soap Wish, or Mr. as he was known then, is an artist by nature and he can make something from nothing.  Very talented.  I myself can also make something (a mess) from nothing.  But I digress.  The Mr. was attempting to be interested in my new interest of soap making until I showed him these.....

Once the Mr. saw what Soapylove could do with soap, he became Mr. Soap Wish right before my eyes.  The beautifully clear colors, the contemporary designs, and the variety of techniques Debbie (aka Soapylove) is known for had us both hooked.  Take a look at some of my old posts and you'll see Mr. Soap Wish's work.  You'll see mine too, but that's another story.

The good news is Soaplove wrote a book and you can learn some of her techniques by reading her book and practicing her methods.  But, here's the really, really good news...
I'm giving away a signed copy of Debbie's book

But wait, there's more...once you have the book you'll want to get started creating soap...trust me, I know...so I'm including Soapylove supplies from Bramble Berry too!  You'll be able to start creating the second  you open the book!  I'm including..

So let's recap, you'll get a signed copy of Debbie's book Soapylove, one pound each of Brambleberry Soapylove Bright White Melt and Pour Soap Base and Bramble Berry Soapylove Naturally Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base , one set of Bramble Berry Soapylove Candy-Jar-Fragrance-Set, and one set of Bramble Berry Soapylove Jewelry-Box-Soap-Colorants

Rules.....
-Leave a comment telling me whether or not you make soap now (leave a link if you have a site showcasing your soaps)
-One entry per person please
-Giveaway ends at 12:00PM Eastern Time Saturday, February 6. I will use random.org to randomly select one winner and the results will be posted by 12:30PM Saturday.  Check back then to see if you're the lucky one!
Enjoy!

I have been interested in soap for about a year now! I am much more interested in MP soap, because I like to make themed soaps! Cute little, detailed soaps. I just recently bought some necessities on Brambleberry and am looking forward to buying more! I hadn't had a place to make soaps and then last weekend I took over the laundry room and made some new soaps and posted the pics to my facebook account... http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=141113&id=509237085&ref=mf

I love making soap it is so theraputic! I lost my creativity when my Dad passed away~ I had a soapin' itch right before Christmas 09' and got alot of pent up emotion out on soap! 30 lbs later I could breathe again! The fresh scents I created helped the soapmaker in me overcome my hurdle of my Father. You can find me on facebook @ Meltdownsoaps.I love your creative mind and would love to soap with you!
