Here's what I've been doing when I should have been doing 1,000 other things. I'm still working on a few aspects of the layout and I'd like to consolidate some of the photos, but I'm not sure when I'll get that done.
If you have a moment let me know what you think of the new Soap Wish look.
Thanks!
Sheila

Two things....first, I'm sorry I'm a few minutes late posting. We're having a major snowstorm and just as I sat down to post my 9 yr. old son and his best friend came bursting through the door looking for macaroni and cheese. (food of champions)
Second, I've never done a giveaway before and I didn't realize there was a lot more involved in the random generator. I'm posting the result from http://www.randomizer.org/form.htm but in the future I'll get an account with random.org.
Oh, one more thing, my post might have been confusing so I want to make sure everyone knows those beautiful soaps were made by Soapylove...not me.
Okay here goes....
Lucky number 17!

Once upon a time long, long ago (or maybe a year or two ago) I came across soap making. I'm not sure how I got hooked now, but I can tell you how Mr. Soap Wish got hooked. Mr. Soap Wish, or Mr. as he was known then, is an artist by nature and he can make something from nothing. Very talented. I myself can also make something (a mess) from nothing. But I digress. The Mr. was attempting to be interested in my new interest of soap making until I showed him these.....
Once the Mr. saw what Soapylove could do with soap, he became Mr. Soap Wish right before my eyes. The beautifully clear colors, the contemporary designs, and the variety of techniques Debbie (aka Soapylove) is known for had us both hooked. Take a look at some of my old posts and you'll see Mr. Soap Wish's work. You'll see mine too, but that's another story.
The good news is Soaplove wrote a book and you can learn some of her techniques by reading her book and practicing her methods. But, here's the really, really good news...
I'm giving away a signed copy of Debbie's book!
But wait, there's more...once you have the book you'll want to get started creating soap...trust me, I know...so I'm including Soapylove supplies from Bramble Berry too! You'll be able to start creating the second you open the book! I'm including..
So let's recap, you'll get a signed copy of Debbie's book Soapylove, one pound each of Brambleberry Soapylove Bright White Melt and Pour Soap Base and Bramble Berry Soapylove Naturally Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base , one set of Bramble Berry Soapylove Candy-Jar-Fragrance-Set, and one set of Bramble Berry Soapylove Jewelry-Box-Soap-Colorants
Rules.....
-Leave a comment telling me whether or not you make soap now (leave a link if you have a site showcasing your soaps)
-One entry per person please
-Giveaway ends at 12:00PM Eastern Time Saturday, February 6. I will use random.org to randomly select one winner and the results will be posted by 12:30PM Saturday. Check back then to see if you're the lucky one!
Enjoy!

Bella Canine Couture Turnkey Boutique
Forgive me going off topic here (I'll make it up to you shortly with a giveaway-stay tuned). If you or anyone you know are looking for a great opportunity to start an online shop you should check out the cute site Modern Sugar has for sale. It's a turnkey site already loaded with products (drop shipped direct from the vendors - no inventory to stock), and she includes lots of extras like a blog template, business card template, twitter template and more. I warn you though, once you see her site you won't be able to stop thinking about the designs. I know. I know because that happened to me.

Here are a few soaps that caught my eye this week....enjoy!
I love these happy little hearts!
http://soapier.com/index.htm
Last but not least, here are a few of my favorite Valentine's Day designs from Mr. Soapwish.
Sweet Valentine Hearts - love the pink color and the soft sparkle!
These "bubble gum" balls are a great idea for a gift or favor.
I love this idea! Imagine making a flower on top using the same technique. Or use the spheres as bug eyes.
